As an Agile Coach in Europe you will be working with 2-3 R&D teams to define and recommend practices to maximize throughput and value delivered to our customers. The teams make up part of our Platform and are focused on making our data accessible to our users quickly and with high quality, enabling our customers to make strategic decisions for their business.

Your responsibilities
- Have a deep and increasing knowledge of the following and be able to apply them situationally:
- Agile and Lean principles and practices
- team development, dynamics and behaviors
- coaching, mentoring, teaching and facilitation of individuals and teams
- product development

Focus on driving maximum value from everything through:

identifying areas in which the team can move towards high performance so that they are delivering value to our customers

identifying meaningful metrics so that teams are able to understand impact and performance

teach and recommend Agile concepts and practices so that teams can understand and use them to build software effectively

identify and remove impediments so that teams can work efficiently

Help teams focus and plan so that they can deliver quality product increments quickly, safely and in a sustainable way.

designing and facilitating meetings and decision making so that outcomes are reached

Skills & Requirements
- You have experience and demonstrable success as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master with R&D teams.
- Skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational leadership, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
- Knowledge of patterns and techniques for facilitation, handling retrospectives, defect triaging, etc
- Track record of continued and recent education in Agile methodologies, including training, conferences, user groups, self study, etc.
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills
Additional preferred skills
- Knowledge of other approaches discussed in the Agile space: XP, Kanban, etc
- Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing
- Experience with product development teams a plus
- Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team
