THE ROLE

As a (Senior) Manager in the Finance Transformation team
at Capgemini Invent you will collaborate with functional and industry specialists and put both your technology and industry knowledge to the use of organizations, helping them overcoming challenges and enhancing their business processes while leveraging the latest digital solutions.

Leveraging your experience and technical knowledge, you will act as a Finance Specialist taking up responsibilities and leading a multi-disciplinary team on the analysis, design and development of Finance Transformation solutions
for our highly diversified portfolio of clients. You will contribute to client satisfaction by providing value-added services and sharp recommendations relying on the work of your team and your inherent knowledge and understanding of the industry.

Embracing the responsibility of a subject-matter expert , you will foster client collaboration in Finance Transformation engagements, generating recognition of and reliance on the services of your team of knowledgeable consultants.

THE WORK

Relying on your extensive finance transformation knowledge and industry experience, you’ll supervise delivery teams across different client engagements and will coordinate business development efforts in several focus areas. Steering your teams, you will embrace market trends and industry-specific needs to better respond to converted and potential clients.

As a Finance Transformation Expert you will act as a key member of the Corporate Experience management body, participating in strategic business decisions, being instrumental in various cross-industry initiatives while contributing to the team ambitious growth in several focus areas, such as:

  • Development and implementation of finance strategies and the target operating model for the CFO area.
  • Optimize end-to-end business processes in Finance.
  • Improve our clients’ performance management by enhancing reporting.
  • Exciting digitization projects as part of global transformations of financial architectures (including SAP S/4 HANA).
  • Customer-specific analysis and evaluation of new technologies (e.g. artificial intelligence, robotics) and their impact on the CFO area.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

Professional Background

You have:

  • Extensive (5+ years) practical project experience in the field of finance
  • Successful execution of optimization or relevant digital transformation projects
  • Understanding of the new role of Finance in global enterprises
  • Knowledge of relevant software in the areas of finance, data management or business intelligence
  • Understanding of technology and ERP applications (SAP S/4HANA is a plus)
  • Strong core consulting skills including workshop facilitation, inductive/ deductive reasoning, executive client interaction, data analysis, process design, and change management
  • High reliability, team spirit and fit for a leading global management consultancy
  • Understanding and having the people and communication skills to support change
  • Strong presentation and moderation skills as well as very good MS Office skills

Educational Background

You hold:

  • A master’s degree in Business, Economics or Finance.
  • An MBA or an additional master’s degree is a plus.

Personal Skills

  • You are fluent in English as well as French and Dutch, and you have a practical knowledge of the other Belgian national language.
  • You have very strong interpersonal skills, including, but not limited to, verbal and written communication skills up to CxO level.
  • You can empathize with clients in politically challenging environments, can work under pressure within given timeframes.
  • You are a digital native, with a broad understanding of the current technology trends and naturally keep yourself updated on the latest.
  • You are a team player who can work in teams with people of different grades and backgrounds.
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset, are results-oriented and have a can-do mentality.
  • You are flexible in terms of assignment location.
