About the role:

You will contribute to operating digital transformation for some of Sweden's largest companies. We offer and execute the complete chain from advice in the early stages to develop, deploy and operate in an agile work environment.

You will be part of a dedicated and experienced Application and IT operations team. We work in an environment consisting of Redhat Linux and Oracle Database, Java/Jboss and microservices.

We believe that you have

  • Experience in Managing Servers, OS installation / Upgrades, Troubleshooting across Linux, Windows, etc.
  • Experience in Database monitoring (Oracle), performance fine-tuning, purging, and adding files to the database.
  • Experience in working with Grafana tool to proactively monitor servers like disc utilization, CPU and memory utilization, Oracle databases performance, database clean up, load balancing, etc.
  • Experience in Installing/Provisioning and Decommissioning servers, discs, load balancers, firewall setup, and rules update
  • Experience in Performing Installation of Application Releases, Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly in Production along with the Application team
  • Experience in OS installation, Upgrades, and troubleshooting
  • Experience in managing cloud infrastructure
  • Experience in collaborating with various stakeholders to drive the changes and supporting the environments
  • Telecom background and experience are an advantage

Responsibilities

  • Configure Grafana tool to monitor the server and database parameters
  • Update the CMDB (and Monitoring tool)
  • Support Business Processes (Sales, Order Management, and Billing and Charging) along with the Application team
  • User administration in a Monitoring tool, Linux, WLS, Application, Database, etc.
  • Verify backups running, restore functionalities working properly, and generate user reports
  • Planning and performing disaster recovery tests and routines
  • Troubleshoot the servers/databases quickly
  • Collaborate with stakeholders proactively to avoid any downtime
  • The role includes weekly on-call services 24/7
