We are building a modern, friendly, and diverse product-first tech company and are now looking for a Sales Manager for our SMB Customers to join our Post Sales Team in Stockholm.
As a Sales Manager for our SMB Customers, you will be part of starting up a completely new team focusing on a specific customer segment: The SMB customers, also referred to as the Tech Touch Customers. As a start, the team will consist of you and a SMB Relationship Manager, and you will be working closely together in the daily matters of the role. You will have Line Manager and Team Lead responsibilities, and initially you will also work with a book of customers.
This is an important segment to us that represents around 15% of our total revenue and 35% of our customer base today. We believe that putting together a team working exclusively towards our SMB Customers will enable a more data driven and scalable approach towards this segment, which in the end will boost Net Revenue Retention.
Main Areas of Contribution for this role:
Optimization
Responsible for optimizing this (almost) self-serving customer journey and methodology for work with our SMB Customers.
Focus on automation and scalability.
Success
Commercial
Responsible for renewals and add-ons, as well as identifying potential expansion areas within the segment.
Leadership
Leading the SMB Customer Team as both Line Manager and Team Lead. Coaching, supporting and enabling personal growth for the people in the team.
What you will do:
Continuous work with the SMB Customers throughout the whole customer journey, with focus on both the commercial part and long term success.
Drive initiatives and projects related to improve, automate and scale the role and area.
Build the customer journey and life cycle for this segment, and apply appropriate ways of working towards these customers.
Lead the vision of this new team, together with the Sales Director for Post Sales, to ensure continuous improvements and smart development of the SMB Customer segment.
Line Managership and Team Lead of your SMB Relationship Manager team.
Plan the future needs of the SMB segment together with the Sales Director and if needed recruit, onboard and coach new SMB Relationship Managers according to the recruitment plan Recruit, onboard and coach new SMB Relationship Managers according to the recruitment plan.
Act as a bridge between the SMB Relationship Manager role and other parts of the business such as Sales Management Team, Business Development, Product and Marketing.
Your experience:
We believe that you have approximately four years of experience of working with Sales, Customer Success or Marketing, in a role such as Account Manager, Performance Marketing Manager, Customer Success Manager with quota or SMB Customer Success Manager. In which you have gained the following skills:
Project Management experience
Experience in selling B2B software solutions into the SaaS market or similar market
Ability to work with data for decision making and scaling actions for effective results
Proven track record in customer/stakeholder relationship management as well as meeting and exceeding sales targets
Deep understanding and/or experience of Sales and Customer Success
Good understanding and/or experience of Marketing and familiar with marketing tools
Proven track record of working smart and with a scalable mindset
Leadership experience of relevant kind
Experience within CRM, automation and tools
