The Junior IT Office Engineer is responsible for a happy place, for any Hurtigruten employee who needs IT physical support for the digital assets or spaces in the office.
As Junior IT Office Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:
Media management
- Monitoring, assessment, and service of digital devices in the meeting rooms.
- Replace easy-handled hardware. (e.g. HDMI cables, audio boxes)
- Proactive support, create quick guides, and train in the usage and adoption of the meeting rooms.
Device support and asset management
- Digital Onboarding and Offboarding procedures
- 1st line physical desktop computer support
- Onsite 1st line IT support in cooperation with the remote service desk
- SIM Card management
- Support managers in the purchase of technical equipment for employees
- Responsible for Hurtigruten office IT-technical interior
- Responsible for stock control of IT-technical items stored in the office
- Computer lifecycle management; formatting, reimaging & recycle
