As the Director of Talent Acquisition , you will be responsible for the strategic direction and management of everything related to Talent Acquisition at Mentimeter. It is about leading our fab TA team, but it is also about inspiring and engaging the whole organization in attracting and hiring their next colleague.

  • High-level strategic work to make sure we attract, assess and hire according to our goals
  • Drive efficient and evidence-based recruitment processes and candidate experiences imbued by our values.

  • Long term organization and recruitment planning in collaboration with the management team.
  • Leading the amazing Talent Acquisition Team

    • Setting vision, mission, OKRs and strategy together with the team and making sure everyone is aligned regarding priorities and processes.
    • Empowering and developing your team in reaching their professional career goals and individual potential
    • Line Manager responsibilities - mainly for TA Business Partner.
    • Budget responsibilities for the TA function - including planning of investments, resource allocation and follow up.
    • Build awareness for Mentimeter as a company, filling our recruitment funnel with people eager to jump on our journey when the possibility arises
    • Be an external spokesperson for our culture, ways of working and Mentimeter as a workplace.

Skills & Requirements


  • Preferably you have done a similar journey before - i.e you know what it takes to scale a tech company in hyper growth, maybe from around 100 - 500 people, together with a big in house TA team.
  • Previous experience:

    • A senior leader with 5+ years of managerial experience
    • 8+ years in a high-pace recruiting environment within the startup/scaleup/Saas tech industry.
    • A proven track record of developing and implementing Talent Acquisition strategies, processes and tools in a values-driven context
    • A proven track record in leading and developing teams and individuals, creating a high performing, engaging and long-term sustainable culture.
    • High emotional intelligence meaning leading through relationships, purpose and values and showing high levels of empathic listening and curiosity.
    • You possess the ability to collaborate and build strong relationships at all levels as well as great stakeholder management.
    • Your previous work demonstrate passion, competence and concrete achievements regarding inclusion, equality and diversity
    • You have financial and business acumen, negotiation skills and project management skills
  • You are fluent in English with good written and verbal communication/presentation skills. We are an English-first organization and everyday work is in English.

Your team

Talent Acquisition is part of our People & Culture Department that has the overall responsibility of attracting and retaining the best people. Together we drive a strategic and proactive agenda focused on building an engaging company culture, a top notch employee experience, great learning and development opportunities and a strong employer brand.

  • Your main team consists of 2 TA Business Partners and 5 experienced TA Partners

  • You will work closely with our 2 people strong TA-team in Canada

  • You will report directly to Anna Gullstrand, Chief People & Culture Officer

  • You will be part of the People & Culture Management Team, consisting of CPCO, People Growth Team Lead and People Experience Team Lead, setting the strategic agenda and ensuring cross collaboration and team synergies.

  • The location of the position is our Stockholm HQ.
