Full Stack Developer (Java / Angular)

Sword Services Greece is seeking to recruit a high-caliber, energetic individual to join our newly established Software Development team in Greece as a Full Stack Developer (Java/Angular or React). The successful candidate will work in a multinational environment on a multitude of tasks supporting our core business in large International Information Systems. What you will do...

• Design, develop and maintain Java EE/spring applications;
• Design and realize SOA architecture in JEE or Spring framework;
• Develop frontend of web applications in Angular or React;
• Work in a hybrid cloud, fully automated and continuous integrated environment (CI/CD) with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket), IaC (Terraform, Ansible), Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, Fortify;
• Be involved in the evolution of existing systems into new architecture, SOA, Angular/React, AWS (IaaS, EC2, EBS, RDS), dockerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Collaborate with the project team to define and design technical solutions;
• Estimate tasks required to complete development projects;
• Assist in the deployment and configuration of JEE/Spring applications;
• Develop and execute JUnit tests.
• Draft technical documentation.

What is your experience...

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other relevant fields (i.e. Engineering);
• Minimum 2 years overall software development work experience in Information Systems;
• Very good knowledge of Java/JEE (EJB, JPA, JAX-RS/WS) or Spring Framework;
• Good knowledge of Relational Databases (preferred Oracle DB );
• Ability to draft technical documentation;
• Excellent command of the English language both written & spoken.

Experience in the following technologies would be considered an asset:

• Development of SOAP or Restful Web Services;
• Front-end web development frameworks, such as Angular or React;
• JEE Application Servers (i.e. WebLogic, JBoss);
• Experience with Microservices architecture
