Junior Full Stack Developer (Java/Angular)

Sword Services Greece is seeking to recruit a high-caliber, energetic individual to join our newly established Software Development team in Greece as a Junior Full Stack Developer (Java/Angular). The successful candidate will work in a multinational environment on a multitude of tasks supporting our core business in large International Information Systems. The company is currently expanding its activities in Greece offering an optimum career advancement opportunity for the successful candidate who should combine a relevant educational and professional background, with enthusiasm and eagerness.

What you will do...

• Develop and maintain Java EE or Spring framework applications;
• Develop frontend of web applications using Angular framework;
• Participate in the implementation of new applications using SOA architecture, Angular, AWS, Containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Work in a hybrid cloud, fully automated and continuous integrated environment (CI/CD) with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket), IaC (Terraform, Ansible), Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube;
• Write technical documentation;
• Collaborate with the project team to define and design technical solutions;
• Estimate tasks required to complete development projects;
• Assist in deployment and configuration of JEE/Spring applications;

What is your experience…

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another relevant field (i.e. Engineering);
• Experience with Java, HTML, JavaScript, and SQL;
• Good knowledge of Object-oriented programming concepts;
• Good knowledge of Relational Databases;
• Excellent command of the English language both written & spoken.

Knowledge of the following technologies will be considered an asset:

• Spring Framework/Spring Boot or Java EE;
• Web development frameworks and libraries (jQuery, Bootstrap, React, Angular).
