As an Ops Analyst you will be providing data and insights from the biggest function of the bank – Operations. With handling applications, disbursements, sales activities, customer & partner contacts and various back-office tasks, the amount of data in OPS is massive and we need reinforcement to build upon it. This is the opportunity to become part of creating greatness from scratch!

You will work closely with two colleague Ops Analysts by utilizing Agile principles and having a Nordic perspective with stake holders in Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden. Together with the team you are building data & reports into PowerBI, excel and other reporting templates. You also will be providing insights, analysis and forecasting based on the facts & figures. The underlying data is mainly obtained through coding in SQL and SAS, hence we are looking for a person with great interest and at least junior level of knowledge within this area.

Our Ops Analyst team is rather young – we have only existed a year - so you have a great chance to affect our ways of working and maturing our team further. In addition to running the Data & Analysis “data center” with your colleagues, you will be collaborating with Data management, Commercial, IT and other stake holders as well as presenting reports and insights to leaders – also up to Exco level. The work also includes training the end users and sharing knowledge on how to utilize the reports in the most optimal way. Therefore, you will succeed with having great communication skills and readiness to present your work in various forums.

When building new, the tasks that you need to overcome to get to the finish line are sometimes unpredictable. Also constantly changing requirements and adjustments are business as usual. With optimistic, solution oriented “can do” -attitude these hurdles will feel easier to manage. Also having structured, proactive and systemic approach helps you to keep up with the deliverables and plans.

Main activities
· Execute reporting requirements in a timely and accurate manner

· Automate, standardize & harmonize reporting, where feasible

· Ensure aligned and clarified definitions

· Collaborate & communicate actively across teams and functions

· Document the data & reports and ensure quality with controls

· Run training and knowledge sharing across Operations

Skills & Requirements

· Knowledge within area of responsibility & financial industry

· Understanding of complex data & sources

· High analytical and solution orientation skills

· Good skills with Excel, SQL & SAS

· Knowledge of PowerBI, Data warehouse and Python seen as beneficial

· Experience with Agile methodologies & tools (Scrum, Kanban, Epics/Features/US etc.) seen as beneficial

· Business or High school education

· University degree (bachelor or master) within relative area

· Fluent English in writing and speech

· Ability in one of the Nordic languages
