Northvolt in-house brand department is looking for an awesome graphic designer to fill in for one our rockstars as she leaves for maternity leave in August. By awesome we mean someone who possesses both grit and creative flair – who feels confident and at home expressing the brand visually in any digital form. **
How temp is this job?
Not to raise your hopes, but the fact is: Northvolt is growing through the roof, doubling its headcount every year. So the probability of this becoming a permanent gig, well, it’s up to you really. So far, Northvolt has never turned down great temps that want to stick around. Throughout your stay we’ll be supe- transparent regarding your performance so you can plan ahead.
What are we looking for?
We believe you have a solid design background and a visual style rooted in great taste rather than following what’s trending on Dribbble. Reporting to the Brand Director, you will work side by side with a rag tag team of creative doers.
Your workdays will be filled with fun and random assignments. Ranging from developing our brand identity; fine tune our web presence; create ads, video content, presentations and packaging; work on exhibitions and our digital products; have opinions on office and factory interiors, to what Peter Carlsson’s next hoodie should look like. To put it another way: As one of the most artistic persons among a growing staff of 3000, you’ll be in popular demand!

Cheat sheet to win awesome job:
- Submit a portfolio, don’t spend much time on a cover letter.
- 3+ years’ experience as graphic designer
- Formal design schooling a big bonus, but not a requirement. Autodidact geniuses are always welcome!
- Startup and growth company experience is a major advantage
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills (fluency in Swedish is a plus)
Optional superpowers:
- You're strong where we’re weak: motion, 3d, physical or event design.
- Plenty of grit, a can-do attitude, an entrepreneurial spirit, a great eye for quality, a sense of humor and a curious mind.
