Do you want to play a central role in the implementation and roll-out of the new Nordic origination system for Consumer? Are you a person with an eye for detail who loves to see to that all pieces of the puzzle fit perfectly in place? If so, have a look below.

As Business Analyst for Consumer Nordic, you will be part of cross functional team and work side by side with Product Managers and Product Owners. You will be part of our ART (Agile release train) and you will be responsible for bridging the gap between IT and Business with goal to improve efficiency and increase customer value.

As Business Analyst Consumer you will work close with the Business and IT to understand process, products, services, software and hardware can improve efficiency and add value to the Customers. This information is used to write detailed IT requirements and document processes according to the way of working in the bank.

To succeed in this role, you should thrive on getting the details right and have a natural analytical way of thinking. In addition, you need to have good communication skills and need to be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.

Main tasks

The tasks will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Evaluate business process, write requirements, uncover areas of improvement and develop and implement solutions.
  • Performing requirements analysis.
  • Lead and facilitate user story specification and acceptance criteria’s’ in collaboration with subject matter experts.
  • Align and communicate dependencies with related projects​
  • Ensure target architecture perspective on business requirements​
  • Perform user acceptance testing.
  • Document customer journeys and process descriptions.
  • Secure connection to other relevant documentation in order to create a “red thread” in the documentation​
  • Continuously support Product owner/Product manager in stakeholder management
  • Participates in team demos and retrospectives
  • Work collaboratively with ART to ensure that all business requirements are captured​

Personal Characteristics

  • Analytic and structured with an ability to methodically break down problems and challenges into smaller components.
  • A drive to automate and modernize systems in order to increase value for customers and internal stakeholders
  • Team player with very good communication and interpersonal skills and strong drive
  • Experience creating detailed documentation and giving presentations.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills

Competencies and Skills

  • Excellent skills in writing requirements
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Strong meeting facilitation and presentation skills
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
  • Ability to effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Ability to gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.

Preferred Experience & Education

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
  • Excellent documentation skills.

  • Proven record of leading and supporting successful projects/initiatives.

  • An insight and understanding of Consumer products and processes (consumer loans, sales finance and/or payments offers)

  • Experience from working Agile
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in business or related field or an MBA
