Northvolt has an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager to join our Digitalization team in Stockholm.
The Digitalization team is developing industry leading connectivity in the factory to enable both data and product driven decision making on all levels of operations. We build software and develop solutions that give our colleagues real-time insight, impact, and control over the factory: from planning over execution to quality assurance.
You will join the Operational Excellence product team. The team consists of six software engineers and sits within the Production Control & Execution (PC&E) product area. PC&E further consists of another product team, a UX researcher, tech lead, engineering manager and product analyst.
Northvolt’s vision is to enable the future of energy, to do this we need to commission and ramp up factories fast. The team enables this by automating processes, building intuitive interfaces that makes running efficient battery factories possible and together with the Data team provides deep insights on production data.
Specific responsibilities :
- Translate the product roadmap into a product backlog of well-defined user stories with appropriate acceptance criteria
- Work with software engineering, production planning, operations, production technology and process engineering to move initiatives forward
- Facilitate technical design workshops
- Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews
- Support the Product area lead with defining the strategic long-term vision and product roadmap
- Partner with UX and Product Analysts

Skills & Requirements
We believe that you have :

Engineering Degree BSc/MSc

Product experience: 2+ years of product management experience, working with agile software development frameworks

Project management: A proven track record of leading ambitious and ambiguous 0-to-1 projects

Strong business acumen: You enjoy digging into the details of how a business works, identifying how to make it better, and building product/technical solutions to do so

Strong stakeholder management: You have experience navigating difficult situations, negotiating timelines, and influencing internal and external stakeholders

Engineering partnership experience: You have collaborated closely with engineers to to solve technical problems and continuously build and improve new and existing features

Analytical: You dig deep into the data, think from first principles, and deliver the right results

Technical expertise: You get excited about getting into the details

Results-oriented: You enjoy doing whatever it takes to execute on complex projects

Experience in manufacturing is a plus but not a requirement
