THIS IS WHAT YOU DO

  • You develop and design aerospace propulsion parts and assemblies throughout their lifecycle
  • You create complex 3D parts and assemblies in CAD (Siemens NX)
  • You are responsible of the integration of electrical and mechanical components
  • You create supporting documentation for certificatio and prepare and present material in design reviews
  • You ensure seamless coordination of the testing activities among the teams within your IPT, with the Systems Testing Department and various suppliers
  • You are in constant exchange with engineers of other disciplines, for example, Manufacturing, Procurement, etc.as well as suppliers
  • You create supporting documentation for certification
  • You prepare and present material in design reviews

THIS IS WHAT WE NEED

  • University degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (MSc/M.Eng preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the aerospace industry is required
  • Experience in design & development of Electric Motor enclosures and connectors is highly appreciated
  • Proven record of successfully progressing designs through a gated process
  • Experience in managing and agreeing interfaces
  • Knowledge of PDM/PLM systems is required
  • Good knowledge of a CAD system is beneficial (Siemens NX is preferred)
  • High level of self-reliance with the ability to work in a team, as well as autonomously if required
  • Target-oriented, driven work style with analytic problem-solving skills required
  • Ability and willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment is required
  • Fluent English language skills are essential
  • Fluent German language skills are a big +
