THIS IS THE JOB

  • Independent concept and generation of the electrical integration and functional test procedures at satellite- and instrument level in compliance with functional requirements and cost/schedule plans
  • Autonomous execution of integration and test activities
  • As Technical supply manager (TSM), definition of the EGSE in compliance with technical parameters and cost requirements, support the EGSE procurement taking into account the budget and schedule constraints
  • Support of the Project and System Engineering Teams throughout all project phases with regard to electrical and functional AIT aspects, be prepared to interface with customers and subcontractors
  • Interface and harmonize with the teams of related disciplines like AIT system, Mechanics, Optics, Electric, Work preparation and manufacturing
  • Preparation and implementation of standard AIT boards such as IRR, TRR, PTR and TRB, participation in project reviews
  • Impact Assessment on problems and non-conformances with the proper documentation and pro-active seeking of support of other experts when necessary
  • Timely preparation and compilation of required AIT documents, such as AIT plans, procedures and test reports

THIS IS WHAT WE NEED

  • Diploma in electrical engineering, physics or similar
  • Practical experience as electrical engineer in an industrial environment
  • Ability to establish and work according to procedures and to assure the necessary documentation
  • Ability to reach goals also under schedule pressure ▪ Excellent communication skills, strong ability to work in teams also in international environment
  • Availability to work on 24 hours (3 shift), during the weekend and abroad for test and possible launch campaign
  • Good written and oral English
