As a part of the Strategy, ESG and M&A team in Hurtigruten Group, your responsibility will be to support the delivery of the next phase of the company's ambitious expansion plan which includes expanding operations to new geographies, investing in new business opportunities and growing our expedition offerings.
As a Strategy Manager, you will work together with the group management team to define and help drive large structural and strategic transformation programs across the company. This may include:
Help own and drive the strategic agenda for Hurtigruten Group.
Identify, due diligence investment opportunities at sea and on land (e.g., M&A targets), and drive future integration.
Set up business development projects to execute on our growth strategy.
Support the overall transformation and change programs that spans across the company.
Perform market research, identifying growth opportunities in our main target markets and supporting competitive intelligence insights.
Mature key elements of the operating model to allow us to support a cutting-edge expedition fleet operating at scale all around the world.
Observe, analyse and understand trends that are relevant to Hurtigruten.
The role reports to the VP Strategy and M&A for Hurtigruten Group and will be based out of London.
Currently, our two main offices are in Oslo and London.
Qualifications
Master’s degree within business, economics or technology
3–6-year experience from top tier management consulting
Fluent in English, spoken and written
Personal qualities
Intellectual curiosity and a “can do" attitude
Strong analytical and communication skills
Ability to ‘storyline’ and structure complex topics
Entrepreneurial mindset excited to take ownership and drive the ship
Can work under pressure to meet deadlines
Strong team player who can thrive in a close-knit team
