THIS IS THE JOB

• You become a team member of a new division created beginning 2021 tackling end2end embedded software engineering for Automotive electronic control units.
• You contribute to ramp-up an internal delivery framework to enable Capgemini Engineering to deliver end-2-end software solutions.
• You support the foundation and operation of the Local Expertise Center for Automotive Software Engineering and contribute to technical, administrative and organizational topics.
• You are defining the Capgemini Engineering internal toolchain for systems & requirements engineering process, setting-up the tooling, scripting, and maintaining the tools, support in administration and operation and defining the tooling for lifecycle management.

THIS IS WHAT WE NEED

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar with 1-3 years prof. experience in automotive engineering industry.
• Proven experience related to automotive embedded software development (preferably for OEM/TIER1 projects), minimum 2 years of experience working as a Test Management or Requirement Management Specialist.
• Skills:
  • Knowledge in use of some of the relevant tools for Test and RM (DOORS Classic, PTC Integrity, Codebeamer, HP ALM or Octane, JIRA,…), ideally also administration and customization of the tools.
  • Understanding of functional safety and ASPICE concepts
  • Knowledge in the field of automotive tooling supporting the life cycle of V-model and agile based projects for embedded devices (Application lifecycle management, Continuous Integration, Continuous Development).
  • Professional experience with ReqIF data interchange and migration for RM.
  • Professional experience with test automation frameworks for TM.
  • Professional experience with automation scripts (e.g. Bash, Shell, Perl, Ruby, JS, Python).
  • Basic experience in the field of Linux / Unix administration (e.g. RedHat, CentOS etc.).
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery and associated best practices is a PLUS.
• Enjoys working independently, focused and proactive in a highly team and client-oriented environment.
• Enthusiastic, flexible and keen approach to learning, etc.
• Structured individual with good problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable in customer facing role, confident and thoughtful.
• Must be able to work alone with minimum guidance, but also be able to operate effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to see the bigger picture but have a passion for details where it matters (out of the box thinking).
• Excellent communication skills: mandatory C1 or equivalent English- and mandatory B2 or equivalent German language skills. French is a big PLUS.
