Skills & Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate professional with business understanding and sufficient D&A technical understanding to also lead a D&A technical platform team.
Head of Commercial Analytics will be responsible ensuring that Hurtigruten Group has commercial data and insights for efficient and effective decision making, both within our commercial organization and other parts of the Group.

Responsibilities include

  • Provide timely and accurate commercial insight to all stakeholders, including Chief Commercial Officer, Markets, E-commerce, CRM, Group Finance, business units and Group Executive Management
  • Prioritize work for Commercial Analytics team to deliver the most value-creating insight in the most efficient manner.
  • Build a high-performing commercial analytics team, where a diverse set of backgrounds and experience leads to cross-functional collaboration, efficient delivery of insight and a creative environment

Academic, Professional Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor or Master degree in business, engineering, mathematics, statistics or similar
  • Must have commercial and strategic experience working with commercial analytics, business intelligence or and/or business performance

  • Recent experience working in highly data-driven digital commercial teams

  • Proven leadership skills. Experience recruiting, developing and leading a team of cross-functional experts

  • Experience with agile product management a plus

  • Ability to both work strategically and long term and be in operational details to support the teams
