Northvolt now offers an exciting Engineering Internship opportunity in our newly established Production Systems team based in Västerås, Sweden.
The Production Systems team plays a vital role to lead short-term and long-term improvement throughout the factory, leveraging data driven process insights to identify improvement potentials and drive their realization.
In this internship you will work cross functionally to support us continuously improve in production. Critical success factors for this role are a good technical understanding, good knowledge of lean tools, quick learning and adaption, as well as an eye for detail and good skills in data analysis. In the end it should be a good mix of engineering and data analysis skills to make this internship a success.
You will have the opportunity to work on own projects as well as participating in a variety of initiatives that are already in motion among great colleagues - we promise, it won't get boring!

Skills & Requirements
We believe that you have :
- Recently graduated from a Master’s degree in Engineering, preferable Manufacturing Engineering/Production Engineering/Mechanical Engineering
- Experience from working or studying in a multi-cultural environment
Bonus points for:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- You have a good understanding of production processes. Hands-on experience is big plus.
- Experience from Lean manufacturing
- Ambitious and highly efficient doer mentality
- Excellent, flexible multi-tasker with love for both people and technology
