We are looking for a Deputy Claims Executive/Claims Executive for the P&I and Marine Claims team in our Hong Kong office. The Hong Kong Claims team handles all types of P&I and H&M claims for our clients located in Hong Kong and Asia. The role requires previous P&I and H&M claims handling experience.
There is a strong focus across Gard claims teams to support the underwriting and loss prevention functions in marketing Gard`s capabilities in Hong Kong and across the Asia-Pacific region. The successful candidate will be expected to handle a busy caseload whilst maintaining good business relationships with our clients; and will work closely with other teams and offices in Gard.
Skills and Requirements
A university degree in shipping, law, or an insurance discipline
Minimum 3 years’ experience in handling P&I and H&M claims. Candidates with 5+ years with related marine claims handling experience will be considered for an Claims Executive role
Ability to analyze, structure and organize tasks and work independently
Able to work under pressure
