Group Consolidation Specialist with IFRS focus to Skanska Group HQ

Skanska Group HQ is seeking a group consolidation specialist with focus on IFRS to Group Function Reporting & Accounting, a team of 8 Group consolidation specialist reporting to the Senior Vice President Reporting and Accounting.
The team is responsible for implementing new accounting standards, updates of the Skanska accounting manual and answering accounting questions from the Business Units. They secure that the group consolidation during the quarters is correctly reported and presented. Each member of the team has responsibility for specific accounting areas within Group consolidation.
The person we are going to replace, due to retirement, has responsibility for pensions, taxes and financial instrument within Group consolidation. He has also a specific focus on IFRS together with others in the team. You will have the opportunity to work together with him for a longer handover.
Your key tasks & responsibilities
- Participating in the team that establish the accounting manual to current standards and also answer accounting questions from BUs and Management.
- Be responsible for accounting treatment of pensions, taxes and financial instruments
- Producing and reviewing financial information in the annual reports and interim reports to meet IASB and legal requirements,
- Reviewing and consolidating the group’s pensions, taxes, financial instruments, acquisition/disposal of companies
- Work with improvements of reporting processes, reporting instructions and the use of IT-systems.
- Work with EY during the audit of the group consolidation in Q3/Q4, including the annual reports.
You will also have regular contact with the business units in both Sweden and internationally when it comes to accounting and reporting issues, which can involve travel occasionally

Your profile
We are looking for an experienced specialist with excellent communicational skills - with many different kinds of stakeholders is that especially important. You are analytical, organized and accurate with great skills in planning and prioritizing – not getting stuck to long with the details.
You prefer to work in a team, are service minded and have good cooperation skills.
We also like you to have:
- An academic degree in Business Administration, Finance or similar
- At least eight years of experience from Group consolidation in an international company or audit firm.
- Experience from financial or insurance company is an advantage
- Extensive knowledge in Group Accounting and IFRS Standards
- System knowledge in Excel and preferably also in HFM
- You also need to be fluent in both English and Swedish
