Meltwater, a global software as a service company, is looking to hire a Media Research Specialist to join our Content Support team.
The Content Support organization is responsible for building and maintaining a rich and complete source and media database in order to ensure the flow of high quality content into the Meltwater Product.
For this role we are looking for bilingual speakers with an interest in new and traditional media!
Our Media Research Specialist combines knowledge of the media landscape, customer use cases, and an understanding of PR to keep our database updated and organized. They are able to think proactively, find gaps in information and work with team members to tackle problems all while having an eagerness to learn new things.

What You’ll Do:
Build and maintain well-structured databases of media outlets
Build and maintain relevant media lists by country, industry, etc
Proactively initiate projects to keep our editorial databases up-to-date and complete
Research of new outlets/journalists
Research news and moves in the media
Undertake specific projects relevant to the development of our databases
Fluency in English
Ability to read and conduct online research in other European languages is a plus (particularly German and Scandinavian languages)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong ability to conduct productive online research
Understanding and interest in traditional and new media journalism
Good computer literacy skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in all work
Self-motivated with ability to time manage
Outstanding commitment and winning spirit
Enjoy working in a team
Ability to think creatively
Additional Information
Offices located in Berlin & Budapest, but with the option of being fully remote in either country.
Full Time (40 hours a week) or Part Time (30 hours a week)
