We are looking for an experienced and driven Production Quality Shift Manager to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. By joining us you will be a key player in establishing the high quality performance in our production at the first large scale European battery factory.
About the job
As a quality manager, you will lead a group of a dozen Process Quality Engineers and technicians on shift, ensuring that quality standards are followed throughout production. Your main responsibilities will include following up on shift quality performance and continuously look for improvement. Furthermore, you will supervise the training of new team members.
About the team
The quality department is lead by the Director of Quality and composed of three main aspects, Production Quality, Quality Control and Quality Testing. The department focuses on implementing a strong quality mindset across the organization and is amongst one of the most cross-functional in the organization, collaborating closely with our Production Technology and Process Engineering teams to act on deviations and improve processes.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Set up quality monitoring procedures, quality KPI's, evaluate performance and make improvement proposals, i.e. Process capability: SPC and Cpk
Lead trouble shooting and root cause analysis activities in relation to non-conformities and quality issues, e.g. 8D and non-conformity reporting.
Participate and input in change management, engineering change notification and deviation approval processes. Review results and action tracker and initiate improvement projects. Drive cross-functional and cross-technological manufacturing projects and opportunities. Drive quality improvement and optimization projects utilising six sigma methodology.
Participate and input to quality gate reviews in the industrialisation phase of Product and Process Development to ensure reliable manufacturing of products. Be part of equipment commissioning team.

Minimum Education / Experience Requirements
Experience of leading a production quality team in automotive or battery cell manufacturing.
Expert in SPC, MSA, process capability, FMEA, Quality troubleshooting tools and problem-solving methodology.
Additional Skills (Desired, but not Required)
Experience with developing training and certification procedures and programs
Experience in FMEA (preferably IQ-RM), developing processes, standards, procedures and documentation in an efficient way to ensure high-quality products to meet customer requirements
Experience in DoE, control plan development
Internal auditor certification for ISO 9001:2015
