We are looking for an Environmental Engineer to join our passionate team in Skellefteå. In the role as an Environmental Engineer at Northvolt Ett in Skellefteå, the daily work include various environmental questions. Your main responsibilities will be to overlook waste management for the factory and to make sure that waste is managed according to our environmental permit. You will also be working a lot with developing our environmental management system ISO 14 001.
As a person you are trustworthy, has high integrity and is perceptive. You have good collaborative skills which enables you to build good relations with your teammates. You are technically interested and appreciate working in a team.
We are seeking a person who is both professional and driven, results-oriented, and with a good sense of planning. Since working at Northvolt requires many internal and external contacts, it is important that you can express yourself well in speech and in writing. In your work role, you will be working a lot with supporting the organization within Northvolt Ett with your expertise within the environmental area to help create a strong environmental awareness.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Waste management for the factory.
Establishing and developing the environmental management system ISO 14 001 for the factory.
Educate and inform management and other teams on actions needed for compliance.
Make sure that legal requirements and permit requirements are complied with.
Support the organization with, for example, risk analyses, investigations, and routines within the environment.
Manage contacts with the supervisory authority.
