We are looking for a experienced Staffing Manager to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our excellent Northvolt Systems team based in Stockholm. By joining us, you will be a key player in establishing staffing & resource management at Northvolt Systems.

About the job

As a Staffing manager, you will be responsible for overall resource demand vs. supply planning for NV Systems, identifying gaps, prioritising resource needs, receive necessary approvals/ buy-ins from stakeholders (department managers, project managers, product managers etc.), ensure resource ramp-up (either internal or external consultants) with talent acquisition team

About the team

The Staffing manager will be reporting centrally to PMO manager at NV Systems AB and working closely with all stakeholders (including Business area Leads, Management team, Product managers, Project Managers, Functional leaders, Department managers, ERP Team, Talent acquisition etc.).

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: ****

  • Prepare, maintain, and update Resource demand vs. Resource supply & availability vs Resource forecasts vs. Actual allocation planning. Together with department leads, establish or optimise existing teams to match and forecast demands.
  • Collect resource demands from projects in execution, opportunities foreseen etc.
  • Ensure smooth running of projects by liaising with project owners and department leads across the business. Match requests to skill sets for optimal use of resources.
  • Prepare resource histograms – based on demand vs. supply vs. allocated vs. forecasted vs. actual spent for all projects, new opportunities, and overall organisation.
  • Business analytics - Resource forecasting for the next 18 to 24 months for overall organisation.
  • Prioritise resource needs and gaps in various projects – based on stakeholder inputs
  • Coordinate weekly or monthly resource planning and allocation meetings with various Business Areas and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor work schedule, productivity, and utilisation data.
  • Continuously drive and develop process and best practice within departments.
  • Identify consultant requirements, follow-up the search for talent, supporting Supply chain / procurement together with department leads, establish, or optimise existing teams to match and forecast demands while supporting personal development across the team.
  • Support with budgeting (approved vs. requested), reporting on forecasted and actuals - based on inputs from Finance & ERP teams.
  • Prepare and maintain internal documentation related to ways of working, processes and policies.

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have :

  • A university degree, preferably in Engineering or Business
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Resource management, Staffing, Project execution, planning, department management etc.
  • Has experience in working in a multicultural environment (e.g. working in international teams, international projects etc.)
  • Has worked on several projects and/ or bids, ideally in similar business area
  • Has planning experience on complex projects of similar scale

Specific skills:

  • Project Planning and Scheduling tools & skills
  • Power BI
  • Good knowledge of Resource management tools (if any)
