Job Description

We are now looking for an HR and payroll specialist to join our HR team! This is an exciting role, where you will support our film and TV productions to ensure correct and timely salary payments and also work broadly within the HR spectrum.

In the role of HR and Payroll Specialist, you will get to combine payroll with broader HR, where the majority of your time will be to managing payroll and employment-related matters within our production business. More specifically, your job will be to:

  • Handle the full salary payments cycle for all our film and TV productions in Sweden – including managing employment contracts, time reports and salary files
  • Work in close collaboration with our film and tv production teams. As we work project-based, you will for each new project be responsible for training our line producers and production accountants in our payroll process
  • Primary contact for our external payroll partner (currently Cognizant)
  • Support our production teams with payroll-related matters such as salary issues, contracts, employment forms, overtime, vacation, sick leave etc.
  • Manage and interpret our collective agreements (Unionen gröna avtalet and TV- och filminspelningsavtalet)
  • Actively work with efficiency improvements and update processes /routines
  • Support employees with questions around time reporting, expense reporting etc.
  • Document and maintain GDPR processes related to HR within the production business
  • Responsible for coordinating and administrating internal HR processes in connection to for example recruitments, onboarding and offboarding
  • Ensure company policies are updated and integrated in production routines and ways-of-working
  • Work in close collaboration with Production Accountants within our finance team
  • Superuser in HR and payroll systems
  • Support HR development initiatives

You will report to EVP HR & Operations.

Who are we looking for?
To be successful in this role, we believe you have:

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree (e.g within HR) or other relevant education
  • Preferably a few years experience working with salaries
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

As a person, we believe you bring a positive mindset and a can-do attitude. You work independently and take full responsibility for delivering with high quality and on time. You need to be structured and thorough, as much of your time will be spent on administration and coordination. You are a problem-solver and have a strong drive to improve ways of working and not settle with the status quo. Many of your stakeholders will be new to payroll – so we need you to be pedagogic and service-minded when communicating and training your new colleagues in our payroll processes.
