Business Sweden are now recruiting a Head of Human Resources who wants to build Business Sweden’s HR function for the future!

As Head of Human Resources at Business Sweden you will be responsible for managing and developing Business Swedens’ HR function in a dynamic and international setting. You will ensure that best practices are in place as well as work both strategically and operationally to create a structured, effective and agile HR organization. You will support managers and employees globally with a wide scope of HR related matters, and in addition ensure that the right HR systems and processes are in place. This is an exciting opportunity to demonstrate HRs positive impact in a truly global organization and lead the business toward set targets.

As Head of Human Resources you will report to CEO Jan Larsson. You will be part of Business Sweden’s management team as well as lead the HR-team which today is made up of 7 people. The role is located at Business Swedens’ HQ in World Trade Center in Stockholm. The role requires some international travel, an estimated 30-50 days per year.

Skills & Requirements

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Own and develop the HR agenda in an international and dynamic setting
  • Develop and implement Human Resource strategies, processes and systems according to Best Practice
  • Develop and lead the direction of talent management strategies to attract, develop and retain talent
  • Provide leadership and support to senior management on matters of leadership, culture, talent management, succession planning, goal setting, mobility and compensation philosophy
  • Oversee maintenance and development of human resources information systems
  • Actively contribute to the Management Team

Background and experience

  • An academic degree in Human Resources or similar
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience from operational and strategic HR work
  • Leadership experience
  • Experience of coaching senior leaders
  • Experience of working in an international environment
  • Experience of creating and implementing strategies, processes and tools
  • Experience of maintaining and developing HR systems and digital tools
  • Experience from consulting businesses is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish
