The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the maintenance activities supporting the machines and support systems used in building customer solutions and sustaining the operations within the Northvolt Tomteboda facility. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) coupled with Lean 6S will be critical in the success of fulfilling the role. As a Maintenance Technician you will be involved in contributing to the success of the latest engineering and prototyping projects within Northvolt Systems.

About the team
The maintenance team, based in Tomteboda, is just being established and this makes it an exciting time to join in contributing to its foundation and success. The vision of the Maintenance team is to work together in establishing a Total Productive Maintenance concept while implementing Lean 6S as guiding principles. Additionally, Health, Safety and the Environment (HSE) will be a major focus for this team ensuring HSE is improved throughout the Tomteboda facility.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • implementing and leading the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance within the Tomteboda Facility
  • Spare parts maintenance
  • Establishing baseline metrics for maintenance
  • Establishing predictable maintenance activities
  • Implementing Lean 6S

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have :

  • A technical degree in Maintenance Management curriculums, a relevant University Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years working experience in contributing to and leading Maintenance
  • Excellent English written and oral skills

Bonus points for:

  • Experience and interest in manufacturing industry
  • Fluency in other languages (Japanese, Swedish, Chinese, French)
  • Experience from a multi-cultural environment
