IT Support Specialist

Simployer continues to grow, and we are now expanding our team in Poland – Gdańsk.
We are looking for a new IT Support Specialist to become our “go-to person” to maintain the company’s IT infrastructure and provide technical support.
As a part of Simployer Tech Polska, your main task will be :
- To act as technical support inside our polish branch in Gdansk, with support issues, hardware configuration, backups, and software maintenance.
- Set up accounts and workstations for the new employees (managing accesses and employees accounts).
- Provide technical support: installing and updating software, replacing hardware, network problem diagnosis.
- Day-to-day cooperation with the Scandinavia team.
- Ensure business continuity, efficiency, and network security.
- Support with new IT projects implementation.
Skills and tools you are going to use :
- Problem-solving, proactivity, critical thinking, effective communication.
- Trustworthy, good prioritization.
- Office 365, Jira, Confluence, VPN, Cisco.
- Experience with databases, and networks (LAN, WAN).
- Knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery.
- Open-minded attitude – eager to help your colleagues, not because you must, but because you want to.
- Polish and English - B2 at minimum is necessary.
