In 2022 we are stepping up our data game and we’re currently looking for a Product Analytics Director to lead us towards a more data-driven product organization.

As our Product Analytics Director, you will be responsible for the data-driven agenda in Mentimeter’s Product Department. This means, among other things, hiring and managing a team of talented specialists, ranging from product data scientists to analysts and insights managers. You will spearhead our efforts to let data influence all parts of our product department and you will be a spokesperson for modern data-driven best practices and A/B testing methods. You will be working collaboratively across all parts of the Mentimeter product and business, including cross-functional development teams, the strategy team, the data platform team and other central or embedding analytics teams to solve complex challenges and help us grow.

Reporting to the VP Data & Insights, you will:

  • Build and lead a team of highly skilled individuals you see fit, e.g. data scientists, product analysts, product insights managers etc.

  • Support the Mentimeter product leadership in understanding and acting on key trends and opportunities in our product, segments and offerings

  • Work closely with Mentimeter’s product teams and product managers to understand our users, our product, our segments, our use cases and our paying customers. Utilizing data, metrics, insights, analyses and reporting, you and your team make sure we’re acting on the right signals and maximize the opportunities ahead of us

  • Be a champion for data-driven ways of working, including proactive analyses, A/B testing best practices, continuous actionable insights and empowering dashboards

  • Identify opportunities for growth and innovation, drive initiatives and influence stakeholders to achieve successful results

  • Continuously report to the CPO, Product Directors, VP of Data & Insights as well as occasionally to the Mentimeter leadership on the state of our business and what underlying factors drive results in different aspects of our product

  • Provide modern and inclusive daily management of your team, their happiness, their goals and their success

Skills & Requirements

Must-haves for the role:

  • Collaboration skills (you will be working with many different functions and people)

  • A proven track record of leading analytics teams at product-oriented companies

  • A passion for data analysis, data science, A/B testing and proactive value-adding insights

  • An interest in coaching and supporting people in their personal and professional development

  • A desire to work in a fast-moving and friendly environment

  • Experience from agile and cross-functional work environments

Extra credit:

  • Experience in people management, recruitment, talent retention, and experience from building a data-driven culture in product organizations is considered a huge plus!

This role will have its base in our HQ in Stockholm and is an onsite/hybrid role.
