We are looking for a driven Training Specialist to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future as a part of our Training team based in Västerås, Sweden. By joining us, you will be a key player in ramping up training and people development initiatives and contribute to building one of the first large scale European battery factories.

About the job _ _ The Training Specialist is an “Expert Generalist” and will be responsible for developing and driving training initiatives to support rapidly growing production, engineering, and support functions at our battery production and R&D facility.

In this role you will work closely with stakeholders to identify training needs, structure training programs, and support all aspects of launching, implementing and measuring these programs. This includes determining if we should build or buy the program and working with external training vendors as needed. You will also have responsibility for ensuring the success of a wide variety of training programs by managing timelines, training calendars, and logistics for these programs.

The Training Specialist role requires excellent skills with managing, analyzing and interpreting training related data and is very comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and other Office tools. This is a critical skill that you will bring to the table.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to map competencies, develop training plans, and implement training programs across all areas of the business.
  • Lead projects and project teams to drive the development and rollout of training initiatives. This includes building cross functional project teams, communicating project statuses with stakeholders, managing timelines, and mapping tasks to ensure project delivery.
  • Support the business as a local expert in all training tools including our Learning Management System (LMS). This includes developing reports, and ensuring accurate tracking of data.
  • Manage tracking and presentation of training data using excel or other business intelligence tools. This includes analyzing and interpreting data, and creating simple dashboards to track program participation, feedback, costs, outcomes and return on investment.

The person that we are looking for is goal oriented, organized and thrives in high intensity environments. You are someone who has strong communication skills and the ability to get teams working with you towards a goal, but also has a keen understanding of the needs of the business that you support. You are someone who is constantly tweaking your approach to better impact the business and striving to see how training can be leveraged to achieve company goals.

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have :

  • A relevant University Degree
  • 5+ years work experience in managing and running training related activities, stakeholder communication and project management
  • Excellent English written and oral skills
