We are looking for a driven Deputy Production Manager to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our passionate team based in Skellefteå. By joining us, you will be a key player in ramping up production and contribute to building one of the first large scale European battery factories.

You will work side by side with our Production Managers, playing a key role in supporting and building a world class battery production. Northvolt is growing with over 100 people per month and we are just getting started. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist Production Manager in planning, managing, and executing production operations.
- Develop or update standard operating procedures and best practices for production operations.
- Ensure that all equipment, materials, and supplies are readily and continuously available to carry out production processes.
- Address employee concerns and complaints in professional manner as well as interviewing, hiring and training new employees.
- Optimize production operations to meet quality and performance standards.
- Analyze overall budget and implement cost-optimization initiatives, as well as determine resource requirements and work allocation for production operation.

- Bachelor of science in mechanical/industrial engineering or similar.
- Proven Leadership in manufacturing Organizations
- Experience in the modern Operations Management principles: Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma,
