Sales business function is responsible for growing Basware's cloud revenue via new customer acquisition and by driving expansion within a satisfied customer base. Through customer-centric selling and collaborative account management we lead prospects & customers through the buying process with Basware, leveraging sales platforms including CRM, CPQ and CLM that support managing the sales cycle.

As trusted advisors with industry and solution expertise we focus on providing value to our customers through advice and insight into best practices. In partnership with Marketing, Customer Services and Partners, we enable organizations to simplify operations, spend smarter and drive the transformation of their Finance & Procurement functions.

Basware is looking for a

Sales Operations Specialist

to support driving an environment that will boost sales teams’ performance and support flawless execution across the functions.

The Sales Operations Specialist works as part of the Sales Operations team to drive sales productivity, forecasting, analytics, development, and field automation initiatives while working closely with the sales teams.


Sales Process & Tool Support

  • Support business processes to enable the fast, consistent, and accurate execution of the sales process.
  • Function as a Junior CRM, CPQ and CLM Sales Key User, ensuring data quality and proper usage of the systems, supporting both the field and CRM, CPQ and CLM development teams.
  • Ensure and follow up on sales teams’ compliance with key Sales Processes including Pipeline, Opportunity, Quoting, Contracting and Customer Data Management.

Data Validation & Analysis

  • Perform regular and adhoc tasks to analyse, validate and enhance sales related data
  • Run regular reports and perform follow up actions with our sales teams

Team Enablement

  • Provide and coordinate support in sales case management to Account Executives.
  • Create and maintain guides and instructions on sales processes and tools

Skills & Experience

  • Some experience in B2B Sales or Sales Operations role required
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding, and high growth environment
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Experience and high proficiency using CRM, CPQ and CLM applications is a plus
  • Experience of global Sales or Sales Operations (EMEA, APAC, AMERICAS) is a plus
  • Software / technology experience is a plus

Education and qualifications / skills and competencies

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • Preferred fields of study: Business Administration, Information Technology or Computer Science
  • Self-driven and highly motivated
  • Flexibility to take over new working topics
  • Excellent English language skills (spoken and written), other languages a plus
