Intern Northvolt Germany

We are looking for an Intern to join us bringing Northvolt to Germany. The role is a part of our stellar project team based in Hamburg with an outreach to our planned Gigafactory in Heide, Schleswig-Holstein. By joining us, you will be at the forefront of building up a large scale green energy cluster from scratch, placing Northvolts next Gigafactory in the heart of the German energy transition and contribute to building one of the largest and most sustainable European battery factories.
About the job
You support us in a super early phase of the project, bringing Northvolt to Germany and ramping up the German company base. This means working on a big variety of topics in a highly cross-functional environment and acting as an intrapreneur in a fast-paced environment.
The person we are looking for is an ambitious individual who is passionate about building up ventures with a bigger purpose and always act in favor of the team. We are looking for a person who is eager to learn, that takes ownership of the tasks on hand and is not afraid to ask questions. The program and Northvolt as an organization values individual talent and autonomy and willingness to go above and beyond. Period of internship is up to 6 months, minimum 3 months required.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage company and project ramp up topics, setting up the right working culture
- Work closely with the project managers in their respective areas, taking ownership where needed
- Support delivery of project activities within the scope of budget quality and time
- Collect and consolidate project related information
- Collaborate with cross-functional team to drive results towards program goals
- Administrate documentation & activities

Skills & Requirements
We believe that you have :
- An ongoing education in Business or Engineering (B.Sc. / M.Sc. or similar) preferred shortly before graduation
- Previous internship experience in industry, start-ups and/or management consulting
- Fluent in German language, fluent in (technical) English preferred, Experience from a multi-cultural environment is a plus
- Excellent analytical skills which can also be implemented visually
- Positivity, true team player with a can-do attitude that is passionate about shaping a greener future in the automotive industry
