The vision for the HRX product is to build the leading B2C platform for expedition travel that creates a world-leading experience for our guests and enables Hurtigruten Expedition's ambitious growth targets.

Working closely with product and engineering we want to test, learn and iterate as quickly as possible to achieve our goals.
You’ll be fluent in design thinking and the latest tools to enable us to prototype and test with customers successfully.
Ideally, you will have experience designing online and offline experiences and the unique challenges that come with these products.

Conduct user research to discover insights, define user personas, and map user journeys.
Create distinct experiences that are desirable and consistent across multiple platforms, devices and channels.
Develop new product concepts, interaction designs and screen flows, and prototypes to articulate solutions.
Create compelling visual designs that align with company and product brand standards.
Conduct concept and usability testing to iteratively validate and improve design solutions.
Actively collaborates as part of an agile team to ensure designs are feasible and implemented accurately.
Track user experience metrics and reports on the success of UX improvements, including analytics.
Hands-on design experience working on web platforms.
Able to plan, conduct, and synthesise user research and usability testing.
Skilled at creating interaction design solutions for multiple products.
Skilled at mobile-first design systems.
Strong visual design skills, able to create compelling, branded, high-fidelity product screens.
Familiar working with design systems that consistently scale across platforms that meet WCAG 2.0 AA accessibility standards.
Solid understanding of how to create usable, accessible, and modular designs that can scale to millions of users through design systems and prototyping.
Skilled in motion and interactive UI design (prototyping) is a plus.
Travel knowledge and enthusiasm is a plus.
Experience with Figma and Miro.
Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent work experience.
Excited in working and collaborating with diverse teams in a dynamic, rapid growth environment.
Hands-on experience designing consumer applications for desktop, web, and mobile.
Proven experience working in design teams in an Agile product development setting.
Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate the value of a design choice to users and non-designer stakeholders.
Creative problem solving and analytical thinking.
Able to produce high-quality creative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Substantial spike in 2 of 3 of the following: User Experience, Interaction Design, Visual Design.
