Job Description

We are hiring a stellar Sales Director. Play a vital role in our journey to establish the world’s first and most comprehensive trading platform for circular batteries - on our mission to make the electric revolution sustainable. In essence, be responsible for developing and leading the Sales Team - including

  • Developing the sales playbook, goals and quotas, and sales plans together with our Business Developer and CEO.
  • Understand the industry and market; synthesize and communicate internally and participate in strategy setting discussions.
  • Establish, develop, and manage complex multi-level relationships and strategies with customer counter parties. Understand customer projects and value models in detail and align resources and priorities.
  • Identify competence needs within the sales team and execute on hiring, training and building a winning sales team.

Compensation

We will develop a remuneration package that is made up of market competitive salary, commission and potentially options.

Skills & Requirements

  • 3 years in b2b sales and business development experience. Comfort and expertise in sales execution from lead generation, negotiations to successful completion and after-market interactions with customers.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Able to work in a small team with high degrees of autonomy, responsibility, and collaboration. You should be self-motivated, independent and willing to get hands-on solving any problem that needs help to move forward.
  • Able to work in an international sales context – experience in negotiating with counter-parties and customers across the globe.
  • University degree preferred; technical background helps but not a must.
  • Background in electric automotive, battery material supply chain, commodity trading or recycling industry preferred. Experience from battery energy storage is also relevant.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Team language is English. Other languages skills are appreciated.

About the team
Cling was founded in 2020 and the team consists of 6 full time employees and counting who secured 21 Msek in funding from Trucks VC (Silicon Valley), First Venture VC (Stockholm), Voyagers Climate tech fund (London) in december 2021.

Location Our company culture is of highest priority and we prefer on-site working. We love whiteboard workshops, after-works and spontaneous get togethers. Another reason for being on-site is because we reside in one of the most beautiful offices in the centre of Stockholm. The Castle is neighbours with the Royal Castle, and we have our own rooms and a fully equipped gym and sauna.
