Our new Partner Development Manager (PDM) is responsible for our key partners in the Netherlands and their business development: Establishing strong relationships with key decision makers as our first point of contact to our channel and driving the preferred partner portfolio, services & support plus the sales & marketing development. It’s also of great importance to facilitate the growth of our dedicated partners by identifying and acquiring new high potential partners.


Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire/Onboard new partners that fit the F-Secure ‘preferred partner’ profile, through own engagement and follow up of relevant partner leads
  • Visiting partners regularly to develop relationships and plan joint activity
  • Develop existing partners, both through technical and sales enablement plans, and collaborative activities
  • Build and maintain business plans for key partners with key stakeholders
  • Carry out external QBR’s with ‘preferred partners’ and internal QBR’s with relevant management team
  • Sales enablement activities with channel partners – including sales certification program
  • Co-ordinate technical enablement activities with SE and channel partners – including technical certification program
  • Collaborative marketing/sales activities with channel partners
  • End user lead creation through activity

  • Relationship skills for establishing deep partner relationships with the right decision makers and effective business development
  • Value Selling Skills, uncovering the real partner needs by asking smart questions and listening and capturing carefully the feedback
  • Understanding of partner organizations and business, incl. key business, portfolio and sales & marketing priorities and decision making and budget processes
  • IT Channel model skills and experience. Understanding partner business models and role of partners.
  • Business Planning skills and operational excellence using CRM and other sales tools effectively
  • Strong presentation and communication skills

  • Experience of developing a successful channel in the cyber security space
  • Good understanding of Cyber Security technologies
  • Good understanding of the Cyber Security marketplace
