Mission
Aurora aims to become a stepping stone for the development of an integrated lithium-battery value-chain. With the main goal of establishing Europe’s largest and most sustainable integrated lithium conversion plant, Galp and Northvolt have joint forces in this venture. We are looking for a VP Human Resources to build a new business from scratch, participating in the development of the EU Battery Value Chain, developing skills in an emerging industry, and being part of an energetic, entrepreneurial and high skilled team that does not understand the sentence “it is not possible".
As VP of HR you will strategically manage all the people related topics, collaborating with the management team to craft the company’s vision and mission.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with management team to craft the company’s vision and mission;
- Develop strategic HR plans and policies, e.g. recruitment, training, compensation, performance evaluation, career path;
- Decide and act on initiatives for equal opportunity, diversity etc.;
- Ensure all procedures comply with legal regulations and best practices;
- Analyze the effectiveness of HR operations and policies;
What you'll need
- Deep knowledge of HR functions, preferably with proven experience as HR VP or other senior HR role (ideally >15 years in strategic planning and implementation)
- Familiar with analytical HR tools
- Knowledge of local and international labor law
- Aptitude in communicating and public speaking
- Well-organized with excellent leadership qualities
- Degree in business, HR, social sciences or related field; MSc/MA/MBA is preferable
