Are you interested in joining a startup with a mission to change the way corporations think about biodiversity, their own processes and the supply chain? We are building a digital service to let users understand their impact and act based on recommendations created by our scientists.
We are starting to scale up our engineering team and you'll be one of the first to join the team of ecology and biodiversity specialists, software engineers and machine learning experts.
We are a startup with a geographically distributed team working around Europe and Australia. You can either work from home or one of our offices in Hamburg, Germany or Helsinki, Finland.
In this role, you have a chance to affect how a new service is built and see concretely your impact on the business' bottom line in an informal but professional setting. As a German company with Nordic origin, we value work-life balance, sense of ownership and the forward-thinking proactive attitude. We offer a competitive salary and benefits.
Skills & Requirements
We are looking for a devops engineer with practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure, GitHub, Kubernetes and Terraform to enhance the maintainability and stability of our deployment, and improve our CI pipelines. Experience in other cloud providers is considered a plus.
You are able to make well-thought-out architectural changes to our service, follow devops best practices and document changes for the gradually growing technical team.
While you're not occupied with the devops work, you'll build our platform together with the team using Celery, Docker, Django, GDAL, Python and React.
You are comfortable working in a team that meets daily online to catch up, to plan things ahead or just for a discussion over a warm cup of coffee. You know how to write performant, high quality software and are willing to voice your own ideas and give feedback in a positive and productive way, as well as support your team members when there's a need for it.
