By joining us, you will be a key player in ramping up Northvolt Ett our first large scale European battery factory.
About the job
The HSE commissioning engineer will serve as the link between our HSE team in construction and manufacturing and the job will be a mix of time on site and plan, coordinate and conducting safety inspections and identify workplace hazards and correct them before they cause accidents during our commissioning phases.
In general you have proven project experience as a HSE engineer and good knowledge in workplace health and safety legislation, rules, regulations and reporting processes within Sweden.
You appreciate interacting with your colleagues and motivate them to contribute to a great safety culture at Northvolt in everything that is built, constructed, commissioned and installed.
In general you have a long experience in the field and have been working in large scale construction projects and start up with high demands on safety. The role reports to the Director of Safety, who in turn reports to the Vice President of Northvolt Ett.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Administrate, monitor and support responsible managers in incident handling system TIA
Initiate, lead and assist risk assessments related to commissioning and start up activities
Identify, quality check, conduct and follow up on risk analyses performed by contractors, vendors and Northvolt for the daily work
Identify and report violations of HSE rules to Program management
Train commissioning organisation in HSE processes
Prepare escalation and sharing of HSE events
