Your challenge, if you join us:
As the Senior Site Purchasing Specialist you have an exciting opportunity to work across all categories. The purpose will be to purchase goods, materials, equipments and services to ensure that the companies operational needs are met, taking into account price, quality and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply. Work in close relation with strategic purchasing function to maximize efficiency. Follow up on supplier performance and suggest improvements.

- You will be part of our Site Local purchasing in Borlänge team but travelling to Stockholm as required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support project and site teams with strategic purchases and sourcing council approvals
- Route purchasing requests to other Purchasing functions, act as purchasing single point of contact to Site management.
- Develops procurement plan/schedule for the site
- Work closely with internal departments to help achieving the preset production plan
- Act as liaison between vendors and internal requester
- Handle local procurement of materials and services
- Follow up current contracts with supplier and adjust them to current company standards
- Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Has thorough understanding of the local market
- Minimize risk by ensuring alternative sources of supply for critical items
- Responsible to answer all of the requisitions process and order-related questions

Skills & Requirements
Education/Experience
- A degree in Engineering/Economics is preferable
- Working experience of more than 2 years in Indirect Materials or Services is required
- Experience identifying requirements and clearly documenting specifications
- Fluency in English is required
- Experience in working with local suppliers is preferred
- Experience and interest in the manufacturing industry is a plus
- Team player, able to influence and convince other team members and project stakeholders
