As Product Owner / Technical Product Manager, you will be part of the product team to define the North Star for the product strategy, portfolio, and roadmap at DigitalRoute, leading us on our journey to becoming the standard for usage-based monetization, and leave your print on this emerging industry space. Our products are used around the world by the largest and most iconic brands, in all verticals from telecommunication to media to high-tech and retail.

What you'll do

  • Define & own roadmap at DigitalRoute: you will define and own (as product owner) the roadmap for major themes for our MediationZone and Usage Engine Private Edition products and, with the rest of the product team, devise product roadmaps to support the product vision.
    Drive product research and own the product: you will manage new product themes and roadmap items, from definition, research, requirements to execute the roadmap as a product owner with agile development teams.
  • Build a new experience for our products: partnering with UX design and architects to build new product experiences that match our users and our ambitions.
  • With the product team responsible for the product backlog prioritization, capacity planning, and working closely with Product Managers, other Product Owners, and R&D scrum teams to ensure high quality and timely delivery of our product releases.

What you'll bring

  • Product leadership with a passion for cutting edge technology in the finance and billing data integration field, what we call “usage-based monetization".
  • 5+ years of applicable experience and good knowledge of the IT and/or Telecom domain; you have a university degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Good working knowledge of product management in roles such as product owner and solution architecture and knowledge of product roadmap management.
  • 3+ years of technical/commercial agile product management experience and all associated tools and processes: from customer research, product requirement management to building customer-facing roadmaps.
  • Experience in managing both classic and cloud platform products and associated operating and release models.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and listening skills and of course be perfectly fluent in English - both reading and writing.
  • As a product owner, you have a good track record of inspiring your co-workers by picturing the future and enabling them to act on their own to deliver according to clear goals and expectations. You embrace diversity, inclusion, and a fun team spirit.
