Welcome to Rovio!

We are looking for a test automation expert to join our successful Delta team in Espoo, Finland.

Delta team is a central team of Rovio, serving our 5 studios. We provide services including QA, customer services, delivery, user research and audio. Going beyond the traditional game testing, we have the ambition to bring test automation to a level that bring Rovio a significant added value. In order to achieve this, we need the best in class in test automation to join forces with us.

This is a key central role at Rovio, and we are looking at someone who is highly experienced, inspiring and technically talented.

You are inspiring and ambitious. We need someone to help define and drive the test automation vision for our studios. You will work with teams of super talented engineers, QA and professionals to help develop our test automation strategy, vision, scope and roll out. The cultural change will be driven by your actions and projects. You understand how automated tests can be reliable, thorough, efficient, cost effective and how they provide clear additional value for the team.

You are technically talented. Rovio is well known for making games with genuinely world-class production values. You need to support our studios in producing work of the absolute highest quality, and making sure the mobile games level of quality are consistent. You have years of experience in this field and know how to drive teams through such cultural and technical transitions.

You’ll need to make stuff. In our studios everybody is expected to roll their sleeves and get their hands dirty, so you will need to be comfortable being embedded in teams and lead by example.

You want to coach and elevate your peers. Your influence will affect the whole organization as you will closely work with each of the studios on a daily basis. Your main role will be to lead Rovio, using test automation as a mean, toward more agile productions, faster cycle time and higher quality.
