The Role
As a Senior Technician, you will focus on Calibrating car sensors and equipment for various vehicle functions and, supporting the teams while driving and collecting data.
Main responsibilities can include the following tasks:

Vehicle diagnosis, debug bus communications.

Configure and update the logging equipment in the vehicles. That includes flashing the ECUs, troubleshooting
-
Fault tracing in built-in equipment.

On-field vehicle support
-
Setup, commission, calibrate and update the vehicle's sensors and sensor prototypes.

Sporadically do some mechanical work on the vehicle interior/exterior, like assembling vehicle trim/bumpers/wheels

Replacing sensors (camera, radar, lidar)

Documentation/reporting
-
Test driving

Skills & Requirements
Your Profile
We are now looking for an individual who is proactive and, has good experience within the automotive industry with knowledge of measurement technology and methods
To be successful in this role, we are happy to see that you have:

B- Drivers License (Must have)

Test driving certificate T2, Volvo Cars (Good To Have)
-
Theoretical and practical knowledge within car systems.

Knowledge within Lidar/camera/radar.
-
Experience in vehicle calibration
-
Experience from prototype build
-
Test driving certificate T2, Volvo Cars

Experience from HW/SW tool at Volvo
-
Knowledge within ADAS/AD
-
Good ability to work in teams
-
Structured and analytical approach coupled with a sense of urgency
