MARKETING PLANNER

As part of the Brand Team, the Marketing Planner takes ‘end to end’ approach to managing branding and comms projects for that team, working across Brand Marketing, Creative Studio, Social Media & PR, and collaborating closely with Commercial.

  • Responsibility for working with Marketing Director and key stakeholders to create the customer-facing marketing roadmap and weekly content plan, pulling in inputs across the teams above to ensure that the roadmap meets brand and business objectives
  • The day to day coordination and delivery of multi-channel global content to support promotional and campaign (supporting ecomm, retail, wholesale, paid media and social) activity by working with teams across the business
  • Support the brand and marketing teams in coordination of retail and promotional information and be the key point of contact that connects all of the different departments
  • Support the wholesale team in the planning and delivery of key wholesale partner marketing campaigns
  • Create project plans for longer lead brand and campaign projects using resource information (across the immediate and wider teams including the IT team, creative studio, Commercial, product etc) and manage projects and expectations based on available resource
  • Testing and checking of digital content, and also managing the approvals process with key stakeholders
  • Work with the teams on refining project requirements and break these down into deliverable actions
  • Work with the studio and creative teams to get an understanding of how much resource is required for certain tasks/deliverable actions
  • Set up roles and responsibility documents for individual longer lead projects
  • Work with the team on the daily management of team resource schedules, ensuring everyone is up to date and aware of all activities and upcoming deadlines
  • Communicate plans to project teams clearly and effectively
  • Strive to constantly improve planning, processes and procedures required to deliver content and make recommendations to the Marketing Director and other senior stakeholders to ensure efficiency and effectiveness is maintained at the highest level
  • Ensure effective use of budget (where required) and creative resource

Skills & Requirements

  • At least 3 years experience working in house or at an agency delivering digital (including mobile) creative marketing campaigns; ideally for a global business, where there are set processes in place
  • If there are no set processes – experience demonstrating how candidate has implemented new processes to support management of their projects
  • Experience working directly with senior stakeholders across multiple functions
  • An enthusiastic and proactive attitude
  • Proven experience of working within a team, and a desire to continue to do so
  • It is imperative that they enjoy fast paced rhythm, constant change and are comfortable dealing with ambiguity
