As a people lead you will have an overview of a group of people, motivate, give instruction and monitor performance. You will be responsible for communicating strategy and guiding your team towards targets.

People Lead responsibilities include;

The people lead role is suited to a mid to senior developer considering a move into a people management role. The role is roughly split 60% development, 40% people lead.


  • You will be part of a team that builds large and medium size ecommerce solutions for our customers. All solutions are based on Magento
  • You will Plan, Develop, Test and Document design implementations as a part of a team
  • Regularly help with internal projects developing general modules that can be used by a wide range of clients and projects
  • Provide technical consultation to other team members (internal and external)
  • You are expected to on your own initiative read books, periodicals and technical reports to keep your competence at a high level and learn ways to keep up with our industry development
  • Regularly attend internal training courses to maintain required skill set

Skills & Requirements

  • You are an engaged, competent and high performing professional

  • Experience building Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) websites

  • Experience using version-control systems such as git

  • Experience of building responsive web applications

  • Navigate effortlessly in an object-orientated environment of PHP templates

  • Structured coding that validates and works across all browsers

  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Magento 2 web developer and proven experience with web projects

  • Fluent English both verbal and written

  • Strong planning, organisational and problem solving skills

  • Capable of estimating and forecasting time to complete project tasks

  • High degree of initiative and ability to work collaboratively

  • Required to travel from time to time

  • Flexibility to adjust to new processes
