In order to reinforce our Procurement team, we are looking for a:

Buyer Belux External Resources, Professional Services and Training

Your job:

- The focus for this role is to support staffing of External resources and create sustainable procurement initiatives for External Resources, Consultancy services and Professional Services.
- You will support the Benelux Category Manager to develop a reliable supplier base for the procurement in the Belux.
- You will also work closely with the Staffing Center in Netherlands and will establish good relationships with the staffing agencies to secure a fast delivery.

You will be located at our Capgemini Belgium Office and you will be part of the Benelux Procurement team. You will have a lot of flexibility to work from home and can decide yourself how often you want to come to the office.

The Benelux team currently consists of 14 Procurement specialists.
This is a complex and fast paced role with opportunity for growth that will be incredibly rewarding for the right person!

You will be working closely with the External Resources, Professional Services and Training Category Manager and the CPO Benelux.

What you’ll do:

  • Strong support of projects to staff external resources
  • Perform strategic supplier management, run tenders, drive negotiations, formalize contracts, and monitor supplier performance.
  • Create a clear roadmap for continuous improvement and value creation through the automation and standardisation of the processes.
  • You will develop category initiatives for the Belux.
  • Forecasting and realizing procurement cost savings.
  • You will contribute to the strategic direction of procurement and ensure that the procurement category strategy correlates with overall business initiatives.
  • Working on complex bids to support sales and drive value on 3rd party spend.
  • You will drive compliance and increase visibility of the value add of Procurement to the stakeholders in Belgium and Luxembourg.

What you’ll bring:


  • Approx. 2 years purchasing and contract negotiations experience.

  • Knowledge of the MS Office pack (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

  • The ability to work in a changing and international environment.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills and able to work effectively, either as an individual or as part of a team in a matrix organization.
  • Purchasing experience in professional services or consultancy services or IT.
  • Understanding of Statement of Work deliverable-based procurement.
  • Interested of taking a leading position in the future.
  • Native Dutch speaker and business fluent in English.
