Flower provides the technological backbone that allows for society to rely upon renewable electricity as its primary energy carrier. Do you want to be part of building this new technology? Come join us at Flower!
Here at Flower we believe that electricity is the future and our best way of combatting the emission of greenhouse gases. However, for us to rely that heavily on electricity fundamental changes to the current electricity system must take place. And we want to lead this transformation!
At Flower we operate a virtual power plant (VPP) where we connect to and control a vast heterogenous pool of assets which we optimize to produce the most benefit for the electricity system both locally, regionally and system wide.
Now we’re looking for our next new star to join as full stack developer at our office at Norrsken in Stockholm. You would be joining our highly driven, dedicated, and competent tech team to be a cornerstone to our frontend application we’re looking to build towards our partners. We want to make it possible for our partners to get insights from the vast amount of data we have in our backend as well as making it easier for them to add new assets to our VPP to speed up the expansion of our operations and the transitions of the electricity system.
We believe that you have a strong background in computer science, engineering, math, or similar and that you have a profound knowledge of programming, especially when it comes to frontend development. Since we have a vast amount of data we want to utilize you should also have a deep understanding of databases, SQL, and how to visualize complex data. And above all you should love learning new things.
Furthermore, it would be meriting to have knowledge of the following:
While we expect you to work at our office at Norrsken in central Stockholm together with the team and put your best foot forward. We’re highly flexible both with remote work and work hours.
Obviously, you’re allowed to work in Sweden, and you’d also be willing to submit to a background check as the security of the electricity system is top priority.

Flower is a Swedish virtual power plant operator. We contribute to renewable and resource efficient societies by developing software and statistical models which enable more flexibility assets to actively participate in the power system. Flower is approved by Swedish Transmission System Operator Svenska kraftnät to provide ancillary services. Our Team is core and we are currently 10+ people working at Flower, most of us engineers, but a happy mix.
