The Salesforce Center of Excellence at Capgemini Switzerland is expanding its team to put in place a strong domestic foundation of consultants, architects, developers and business partners that will enable us to scale up our offerings across the Salesforce spectrum as well as our footprint in Switzerland, ultimately bringing the quality and credibility of one of the leading global integrators of Salesforce, to this promising and rapidly growing market.

What you can expect

Your Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Leading the delivery of workstream activities related to Marketing Cloud, such as contributing to project planning, requirements gathering, solution design, development up to the management of post-go-live support
  • Acting as the first point of contact for the development team for the project and being accountable for the successful communication with the team and delivery
  • Understanding and translating customer's needs into technical requirements, solutions and efficiently defining user stories, as well as cultivating an effective communication with the client on the daily basis
  • Contributing to a fast-growing Marketing Cloud practice in Switzerland by participating in estimating and writing requirements, deliverables, as well as designing, developing, and implementing solutions
  • Leading requirements gathering and scope definition, as well as helping with estimations and training workshops
  • Participating in Project Management practices, sprint planning and standups

What we expect from you


  • At least 2+ years of experience with Marketing Cloud
  • Marketing Cloud Consultant Certification (Marketing Cloud Developer Certification will be considered as a plus)
  • Working experience in IT and consulting, with a good understanding of Digital Marketing concepts and tools
  • Previous experience with REST, SOAP, XML and Salesforce, database and SFTP connectors
  • Understanding of both, Agile and Waterfall methodology including experience with Agile tools, lean and agile project delivery, as well as full cycle deliveries (from requirement gathering to delivery and maintenance)
  • Extensive experience using the Marketing Cloud Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Journey Builder
  • Hands-on experience with AMPscript, HTML / CSS and responsive design coding practices and ability to debug rendering issues
  • Familiarity and a good understanding of SQL, AmpScript, Salesforce Marketing Cloud data architecture, contact management, and integration with external data sources (Experience with Salesforce and MCConnect will be considered as a plus)
  • Knowledge of other marketing automation solutions such as Adobe Marketing Cloud will be considered as a plus
  • Previous experience with Benchmarking different solutions and product positioning will be considered as a plus
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter when required
  • Team player attitude supported by a willingness to help the team when needed as well as share experiences
  • Fast learner and precise, solution-oriented strategic thinker, highly organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to consultatively engage with customers and rapidly adapt to the clients' needs with excellent communication skills
  • Fluency in English and German (at least B2 level)
