We are looking for a driven Senior Project Planner to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our excellent/bold/passionate New factories team based in Stockholm. By joining us, you will be a key player in establishing/developing time plans and contribute to building one of the first large scale European battery factories.
About the job
As a Senior Project Planner you will help us developing strategies and schedules for Northvolt new upcoming factories. You will be the spearhead that open the way for the execution planners and contractors while overseeing the major milestones.
In a typical day you will influence different teams, mentor other planners and work aligned with the management strategy. You will work closely with internal and external parties to ensure schedules are delivered with quality.
To excel at this role you have experience driving large, innovative and challenging EPC projects with very high demand on accuracy and scale. You take the lead when challenges arise and drive workshops to align different stakeholders with the strategy defined by management. Northvolt environment has very high demands on flexibility and strategic thinking, therefore you are comfortable setting new plans and structures to achieve our goals.
About the team
The New factories team main focus is to plan the execution of Northvolt upcoming factories and it is based in Stockholm with regular traveling to site. The long-term goal of the team is to set the concept and strategy for the new factories so the execution team later can take over. You will help us achieving this with your talent and experience.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop, manage and maintain the overall business schedule for Northvolt new factories.
- Develop the necessary tools for progress measurement and reporting.
- Advice the planning team on how to better perform planning tasks.
- Influence stakeholders to achieve the time plan set for their scope.

Skills & Requirements
We believe that you have :
- A degree in engineering/MSc or MBA/Relevant University Degree
- 8+ years working experience in project planning/management in EPC projects
- Excellent English written and oral skills
- Very good knowledge of Primavera P6 planning software
- Good knowledge in Power BI
- Ability to lead and influence stakeholders
- Curious, technically educated and with a strong business background
Bonus points for:
- Experience and interest in manufacturing industry
- Experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- Fluency in other languages (Japanese, Swedish, Chinese, French)
- Experience from a multi-cultural environment
