Cgrain, part of Lantmännen, is innovating the future of agriculture with artificial intelligence. By using a unique mirror design and advanced image analysis, the product, Cgrain Value, examines and analyses the quality of grain to detect deficiencies.

This is what you will do
As Development Engineer at Cgrain you will be responsible for the development of our products overall, with special focus on hardware. The purpose is to ensure that Cgrain has a competitive product portfolio for future business and you will be working with both designing and implementing new ideas as well as practical development of hardware, including electronics, for our current and future products. With our technology, we have the opportunity to contribute early in the food value chain, for a better use of the limited resources on our planet.
Today, the work of developing the products is done by Cgrains founder and inventor of our product portfolio. It is a key function with great importance for the future development of Cgrain where you will have full control and influence over the product design. One of the first projects you will work with is developing a new design of Cgrain Value, widening the use of our instrument. At our office in Uppsala you will be working with our 7 other colleagues within different areas of expertise, especially with our Software Developer, as well as collaborating with external development partners and suppliers. As Development Engineer you report to the Managing Director.

This is what you need to succeed
You have:
- Experience from developing technical products, preferably both within mechanical construction and electronics design, either from studies or work experience.
- Meritorious: Experience from development projects.
- Strong communication skills in English and good knowledge in Swedish.
You are:
- Analytic and insightful, you break down and analyse information efficiently and find effective solutions.
- A doer who enjoys taking initiatives and has a pragmatic approach to challenges.
- Innovative and bring creative solutions to technical problems.
- An organizer with a structured approach to lead development projects according to plan.
- Cooperative with good communication skills and the ability to understand different perspectives. You are skilled at building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and always try to keep a positive attitude.
